The land of our lavender farm in Fitch Bay is for sale.

WILL EXISTING PLANTS BE REPLANTED IN MAGOG?

Yes, the youngest plants will be replanted. Some have also been sold since the beginning of summer to visitors of the lavender farm.

HOW MANY PLANTS WILL BE PLANTED IN TOTAL?

We aim to have 40 000 lavender plants if Mother Nature cooperates. There will be 3 lavender species: Munstead, lavandin and afghan lavender.

HOW MANY EMPLOYEES DOES BLEU LAVANDE EMPLOY? WITH THE NEW LOCATION, WILL THIS NUMBER INCREASE?

Undoubtedly, the completion of the Bleu Lavande project will allow the company to ensure its success and sustainability by consolidating current jobs, increasing the number of annual positions and ensuring seasonal jobs which will now be easier to fill. We are talking of about 45 employees during high season who will now be regrouped in the same place.

HOW MANY VISITORS DOES THE LAVENDER FARM IN FITCH BAY HAVE YEARLY? DO YOU ANTICIPATE THAT THIS NUMBER WILL INCREASE IN MAGOG?

Bleu Lavande expects that through its relocation at the center of an important tourism region, through the complete overhaul of its offer which meets tourism trends and considering the place of agritourism as well as nature and wellness tourism in the hearts of Quebec visitors, to see its clientele increase considerably to nearly 120,000 visitors after two years of full operation.
