We are proud to have implemented a sustainable development policy that guides our daily actions and a sustainable development committee that supports the company in integrating sustainable development principles to enhance its financial, social, and environmental performance. Our committee's mission is to target areas for improvement, find implementable solutions, and ensure their follow-up.
Our Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge
Bleu Lavande has also signed the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge, to demonstrate our commitment to improving the sustainability performance of our organization and our’ business, between now and 2030.
The UN World Tourism Organization defines sustainable tourism as “tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.”
Each year, we commit to measuring and improving our sustainability performance in each of the following ways:
- Implementing a revised sustainable development action plan every two years.
- Structuring the sustainable development approach and communicating actions to raise awareness and have a wider impact by:
- Annually publishing updates on the progress of the action plan concerning the issues mentioned in our sustainable development policy.

- Promoting greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction by:
- Installing two electric vehicle charging stations.
- Conducting an inventory of the company's GHG emissions.
- Fostering employee well-being by:
- Developing a feedback system for seasonal employees.
- Offering innovative social benefits to employees.
- Supporting biodiversity protection by:
- Attracting beneficial species through appropriate installations.
- Planting indigenous plant species and limiting lawn mowing in certain areas.
- Providing free lavender plants to numerous partners.
