Spring has arrived, bringing with it the opportunity to celebrate the beauty of our planet and to take action to protect it. At Bleu Lavande, we take pride in promoting biodiversity conservation as we welcome this season with a touch of green... and blue!

As a company committed to environmental preservation, we understand the significance of pollinators to our ecosystem. That's why we are excited to announce our support for Earth Month by launching a special initiative for April 2024.

For every purchase made on our online store and at our Magog boutique this month, we will provide a complimentary packet of 100 Munstead lavender seeds. These flowers will not only beautify your garden but also provide an essential food source for bees and other pollinators.

How to Plant Your Seeds

If you're ready to plant your lavender seeds, now is the time! Lavender thrives in almost any soil, provided it's well-draining. However, lavender doesn't like to have its feet wet, so it's crucial to provide well-drained soil. We recommend leaving a radius of 60 cm (approximately 24 inches) free of any other flowers to allow your lavender plant to flourish fully. If planting multiple lavender plants in a cluster, maintain a distance of 24 inches (60 cm) between each plant to ensure proper growth. It's best to avoid planting perennials and annuals that might overshadow your lavender plant. Water your new plants regularly for the first two to three weeks after planting to help them establish roots, ensuring the soil is dry between each watering.
